Community Bible Study
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR 2026-2027!
Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible.
Our class (2026-2027) will begin in September with a 6 week study in the New Testament book of James.
Then we will transition back to the Old Testament for the remainder of the year (24 weeks) studying the first half of Genesis.
Our Main class will be in person on Thursdays from 10:00 am-12:00 pm for women and children.
For those unable to attend in person we have two Virtual Classes:
Thursday mornings from 10:15am-11:45am (for women) AND
Thursday evenings from 7:00pm-8:30pm (for women).
We also will have 3 deaf co-ed core groups:
Tuesdays at 9:00am-11:00am (EST).
Tuesdays at 7:00pm-9:00pm (PST)
Wednesdays7:00pm-9:00 (PST)
The first day of class for in-person and the Thursday online groups will be September 10, 2026
The first day of class for the Tuesday morning (EST) Deaf CBS group will be Tuesday, September 15, 2026
The first day of class for the Tuesday evening (PST) Deaf CBS group will be Tuesday, September 15, 2026
The first day of class for the Wednesday evening (PST) Deaf CBS group will be Wednesday, September 16, 2026

1. IN PERSON CLASS: THURSDAYS 10:00 am -12:00 pm
We will meet at Cedar Hills Baptist Church and we will be offering in person groups for both women and children.
Each week will include small group discussion time and a large group teaching.
Also, there will be times of fellowship and sharing with your group.
The first day of class will be September 10, 2026
2. ONLINE CLASS: THURSDAYS 10:15am-11:45am
This class for women will meet online via Zoom for the entire year for those that are not able to join the in person class.
Participants will meet with their core group online each week for the lesson discussion time and then watch the teaching online.
There will also be times throughout the year for virtual fellowhip and sharing with your group.
The first day of class will be September 10, 2026
3. ONLINE CLASS: THURSDAYS 7:00pm-8:30pm
This class for women will meet online via Zoom for the entire year for those that are not able to join the in person class.
Participants will meet with their core group online each week for the lesson discussion time and then watch the teaching online.
There will also be times throughout the year for virtual fellowship and sharing with your group.

4. ONLINE CO-ED DEAF CORE GROUP:
TUESDAYS 9:00 am- 11:00am (Eastern Standard Time)
This co-ed deaf class will meet online via Zoom for the entire year. Participants will meet with their core group online each week for the lesson discussion time and then watch the teaching online.
There will also be times throughout the year for virtual fellowship and sharing with your group.
The first day of class will be September 15, 2026
5. ONLINE CO-ED DEAF CORE GROUP:
TUESDAYS 7:00pm-9:00pm (Pacific Standard Time)
This co-ed deaf class will meet online via Zoom for the entire year. Participants will meet with their core group online each week for the lesson discussion time and then watch the teaching online.
There will also be times throughout the year for virtual fellowship and sharing with your group.
The first day of class will be September 15, 2026
6. ONLINE CO-ED DEAF CORE GROUP:
WEDNESDAYS 7:00pm-9:00pm (Pacific Standard Time)
This co-ed deaf class will meet online via Zoom for the entire year. Participants will meet with their core group online each week for the lesson discussion time and then watch the teaching online.
There will also be times throughout the year for virtual fellowship and sharing with your group.
The first day of class will be September 16, 2026
Classes will meet weekly during the school year and everyone will be provided a lesson book with the discussion questions and commentary.

For the class year 2026-2027 we will be studying James and Genesis (Chapters 1-22).
The epistle James is one of the most practical books in the Bible. This course's lessons encourage each class member to lead a more consistent, caring Christian life and to explore the practical application of faith in family and society.
Although Genesis is an ancient book, it speaks to some of the biggest questions we have today: Is there a God? If so, what is He like? Why is there evil in the world? Why are we here, and where can we find purpose and hope? In this course, which covers the first 22 chapters of Genesis, participants will see that God created a beautiful world and gave people a noble calling in His creation. It explains how our world was fractured by human rebellion and presents the beginnings of God’s plan to put everything back together.

Next Gen Ministry
Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, and games, we seek to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We also come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. We welcome your children to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS Children's Ministry. We are lovingly serving children from infants through High School.
